Insulting resolution for Quaker Simply Granola Oats recall

In January I submitted a claim and threw away nearly 2 full packages of your Quaker Simply Granola Oats, Honey, Raisins and Almonds cereal as a result of a recall. Yesterday I received a letter - and some discount coupons for products I do not use. Really. $1 off and $4 off products I don't use. This is an insult and completely negates any appearance of goodwill on your part regarding the recall. I've used your products for as long as I remember, and absent a more acceptable solution, that will stop.

Recently discovered minute very small lice like insects in my 2lb10oz container of oatmeal. The whole container is infested with these insects which float to the surface when water is added to the oatmeal. I need to know if this will be found in each and every single container being sold. And I need to know if this must be reported to the USDA or other agencies so that Quaker can arrange a complete product recall. I have a photograph of this insect. One of atleast 20 plus noted in the container. Will it ever be safe for me and family to eat oatmeal ever again Thank you. Brian Irlam

Very concerned about recent articles about Quaker Oats Cereals

I have eaten Quaker Oats Oatmeal cereal daily for at least ten years. The news articles (USA Today) regarding the use of roundup and Chlormequat pesticides in these cereals is quite disturbing. Why would a company based on honesty, integrity, purity, and strength allow poisons in our food? Though these are not approved on our edible crops, the EPA allows the importation of foods treated with Chlormequat. I noticed my large supermarket had full stock of Quaker Oats Cereals on the shelves. Usually these cereals go quickly. Please change your policy so all of us can eat healthy and safe foods from your company..

User's recommendation: Do research on pesticides in our cereals.

False advertisement

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I order Quaker Simply Granola Oats, Raisins & Almonds via Amazon.com. i receive two boxes, every six weeks. The last two boxes have contained one or two raisins, each, and one or two slivered almonds, each. I do not consider this proper. If I wanted plain oats, I would order plain oats! I consider this false advertising. And gouging!

Preferred solution: The original recipe. Not a box of dry oats.

User's recommendation: As Quaker Oats is owned by Pepsi.Co now, and I received no response by the company, I can only assume that they don't care about their customers, or their false advertising and price gouging (almost NO raisins or almonds in their advertised honey, raisin and almond packaging). I have two more boxes in my pantry. If they came up a empty as they lost two, then I will cancel my standing order, and I suggest that others do as well. As I am adding Sunkist Raisins to my bowls of oats-only cereal, it won't be a hardship to buy a cheaper brand of oats!

Good day, I am a mom of 5 and my kids love your quaker chewy granola bars. Sadly, I bought my kids some this week and one of them only had a quarter of a bar in the wrapper. It caused a problem because my kids live for these. I wish I could attach a picture, but there isn't a place. Asking to be compensated for 1 bar would be crazy but my kids love them.

I have been a frequent customer for over a year and just noticed today a live bug crawling around in my bowl of oatmeal. I threw it out and opened a new package only to find more bugs that were dead in the oatmeal. I am appalled from what I saw and absolutely disgusted.
